Valley Gives Day a Success!

During the Sojourner Truth Memorial Statue Committee's first year taking part in Valley Gives Day, the Committee posted a strong showing, receiving $710 in gifts. Donations will fund the Committee's social justice scholarship for high school seniors, as well as other educational initiatives in the Pioneer Valley.

Valley Gives, which took place on December 12, 2013, is an annual fundraising day for nonprofits in Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties of western Massachusetts. Donors raised over $2,000,000 for worthy local organizations and are helping to make our community a better place.
