Stop D: Benson Cottage
615 Riverside Drive, part of the “Benson cottage” that once stood at the southeast corner of Maple and Nonotuck streets. It is likely Sojourner Truth lived here between 1845 and 1848 and began to relate the narrative of her life to Olive Gilbert.
